ice'slovebaking: First Time Baker

My name is Irene Carla B. Diala. I am married with two kids. Before I was affiliated to a Korean company in Manila from 2006-2013 after 7 years of working with them. I decided to leaved the company and pursue my career which is teaching. I started baking last 2013 and I found it interesting because I love eating sweets that's why I am very anxious to learn baking. Actually I have a picture of the first cake that I baked and being a fist timer, I think it was not bad. Why? because I asked my husband and kids, How's the taste? They said its delectable, off course I was fortunate to hear it from them. So it didn't finish there I tried and tried another recipe and followed by more commendable remarks from my relatives and friends....feeling happy...

Triple Chocolate Cake

- Akala ko hindi ko kayang gumawa ng chocolate cake. Pero madali lang din pala. Ang mahalaga ay sinusunod ang mga measurements na nakalaan sa bawat ingredients.

Nung tanungin ko ang aking mga hurado: my husband and children.

My husband: well... hindi naman masama pwede na....biglang tawa...

Children: Mommy ang sarap! ang sarap panga... hindi nagsasabi ng totoo si daddy

Well diba ang mga bata ay hindi marunong mag sinungaling. Kaya naman ako feeling happy at hindi pa rin tinigilan ang pag subok ng iba pang recipe.

Banana Choco Cupcakes!

As a beginner, I think I need to learn more such as: texture, taste and design of it. I also need to invest more. Time, dedication and handwork especially the materials that I will be needing in the future such as: baking pans, ingredients, mixers and conventional oven. harharhar....feeling professional.

My advised to everyone if you want something, don't be afraid of trying. Instead be eager to learn and research about it because now a days there's nothing impossible because of internet...
